Glad I picked last weekend to head back to Alberta and do some yard clean up at my house and bring my car to B.C.

If it's any consolation we're going to have unseasonably cold weather in the Okanagan too. No snow, but I think Saturdays high is like 6 which is really low for this area at this time of year. Apparently the orchards are already about 10 days behind where they were last year as it's been an unusually cool spring here as well. Lived here for just under a month and theres only been three days where it got to 20 and for two of them I was in Alberta where it was that warm there too.

The snow and cold will destroy the Sharks will to win.

We should play game 6 outside.

Does anyone honestly believe we'll get anything more than flurries? I trust the weather forecasters here about as much as an Ottawa goaltender.

When it comes to getting the crappy weather right, they're usually spot on...

That may prove to be interesting. If the Sharks do what most teams do, they will be flying here sometime Saturday, but the Flames will fly home tonight.

I hope the snow makes their plane have to divert to Edmonton, and they should have to take a bus from there; with a 2 hour layover in Red Deer.

Actually no, as much as I dislike the Sharks, I really don't wish them having to go to Edmonton.

How about the closest they can get is Great Falls and they can't get there until midnight on Saturday and have to bus it to Calgary from there in time for a 1:00 PM start on Sunday afternoon. I think they would pick that over a diversion to Edmonton though.

Flames can bus to San Fran and fly from there though. That tends to be the issue playing a back to back in San Jose....you have to fly to San Fran and than bus for over an hour to San Jose. Which can suck when you don't get to San Fran until 1:30 or 2 in the morning.

This is odd to say, but I'm actually HOPING for snow on Sunday.

Softball season starts for us that day and the game is scheduled at 6:30..if there's snow and it's cold, then game has to be re-scheduled. And then none of us have to miss the Flames game!!!

OH PLEASE LET THERE BE SNOW!

That's what I was thinking. In my mind it should be a 30-40 minute drive from SJ to SFO, and Google says it's 39-55.

Which to me is probably just as bad as other major cities.

I wonder though if they would fly into Great Falls, or go to Regina or Saskatoon. Might be easier to get a customs broker to clear a bus at an international airport than a border crossing at 2am.
