CP Playoffs Shindiggery?
What do people think about having some kind of CP shindig for the first away game of the playoffs - picking a bar, then having as many people as possible show up and take over the place with some SERIOUS cheering and fun-having?
What I'm thinking, is if enough people want to go, we'd phone a place and see if we could get some kind of reserved seating, so everyone can sit somewhat together, and thus ignite the envy of the hoi-polloi who will wonder: "Who are those people, and how could I ever get to be that cool?"
PS: don't bother with the "OMG karma we aren't in the playoffs yet" schtick, if they somehow don't make the playoffs by an anti-miracle, we can always just go cheer on the Canucks!
PPS: don't firebomb my apartment, I was kidding with that last one.

Can I suggest Steel City Sports Bar on Townsend Street, Boston Pizza on Prince Street, or preferably Don Cherry's on Kings Road?
If we pick Don Cherry's I can walk to and fro

I've said it before and I'll offer it again.... If we get enough people we can get the basement of Kit's Sports Pub to ourselves (rent free). 30 plus would be sweet for us to cheer our faces off!

That sounds good - 30 sounds like a good target for numbers, too. So far we have Otto-matic (if you live in Calgary or nearby, of course), myself, Redvan, and presumably yourself, so that's 4 already.
