Default Aloe Blacc

Thanks to HBO and it's awesome new show (How to Make it in America) I discovered this great new artist called Aloe Blacc. When I heard the song I figured it was a little-known track from a legendary blues-man (BB King, etc.) but this guy is a very cool new artist who brings a bit of soul to the new generation.

Anyway. Figured I'd share. Enjoy!

yep, great show and great song.

Before the show aired they came out with a "how to make it in america" mixtape, have you checked that out?

Great song, thanks for this.

As far as the show, how does it compare quality wise to the other HBO heavy hitters?

Honestly, at the bottom.
I'm not saying it's a bad show, I've seen every episode, but HBO has put out some great shows that appeal to a larger market than this one will/does.
The show is just starting out and just picking up. The show is about a couple hypebeast hustlers out on the street of NYC, trying to get into the denim game.

The E scene in the latest episode was pretty hilarious. Funny how I'm for some reason rooting against that guy.

EDIT: Here is a link to a thread with video that I created before the show officially aired--it got a whooping one reply.

I've been watching this show since the premiere (and downloaded the aloe blacc tune off of Itunes recently) and it's definitely one of the coolest looking and feeling shows HBO has had. The downside is, it's extremely slow moving and nothing really happens. I would definitely recommend it, it might hook you.
