I bought the Harmony 880 at the Boxing day sale from Dell, and once I got it set up it is great.

ATI HD2600XT 512mb Video Card on sale for $80. Looks to be a good price. Memoryexpress has one going for $170 and it's 256mb. M.E. one though is GDDR4 and the dell one is GDDR3.

Anyone have experience with this card? I was looking for a new card soon and was thinking about the 8800GT to replace my old 6600GT, but this is a pretty good deal. I've tried to stay away from ATI for a while since it's been 9 years since I owned my last one. Driver problems pushed me away.

The new goggles also do nothing.

The 8800GT would kill that card, even a 9600GT for $150 would be better I think.

Just to compare, according to Tom's Hardware, in Battlefield 2142 at 1280x1024 4xAA 8xAF, Max Quality:

The 2600XT gets 17.1fps

The 8800GT GT OC (overclocked a bit) gets 92fps

haha... ya, I looked up a few comparisons. A 256mb 8600GTS beat the 512mb 2600XT, sometimes out of the water. I'd say it's not even worth the $80 then. 8800GT it is.
