Mayweather Vs. Big Show

So I was flipping through the channels last night and stopped at the Score because I seen Floyd Mayweather and The Big Slow in the squared circle together. Apparently, Floyd is going by the nickname "Money".

They were talking about how Floyd was getting paid $20M to make an appearance at Wrestlemania 24. I can't beleive he is getting that much. I dont' think Vince McMahon can afford that. I think Mike Tyson only received $1M for his involvement.

Does anyone know if Floyd is really getting $20M or is that just part of the storyline?

I think that it's the media blowing it out of proportion... but him making $20M for the event isn't out of the question.

I'm sure I read somewhere that his guarenteed payday is in the single digit Million range (0-9M), but he's going to get a kick back of some of the revenue/ppv sales from the event, which could bring his payday closer to the $20M reported, but I doubt he's making that much guarenteed.

He'll receive an appearance payout and then will spend the rest of it on lawyers trying to get the remainder of his royalties from Vince.

Mayweather was supposedly injured last night on RAW; it looked legit when they showed the replay, he hit his elbow pretty good on the steel ramp. That's gotta hurt, even if it is a work.

Don't know what that will do to his payday, though.
