Default Habs sign two free agents

Montreal has added to their depth charts by signing LW Quintin Laing and C Pascal Pelletier. With three of our players (Nedved, Bulis and Saprykin) playing in Russia, we wanted to add some depth for next year.

Laing has been playing for the Washington Capitals for the last 19 games and is tied for third on the team at +4. He also has 27 blocked shots in his 19 games.

Pelletier currently leads the AHL with 24 goals. He played his first NHL game on Thursday night. Here's a link, he's one of those feel good stories.

Quintin Laing has managed to stay on the Washington Capitals for 35 games now. He is 4th on the team in +/- with a +4 rating.

I've attached a link which has a good interview of Laing talking about his role.
