Are people really this dumb?
Things people do in interviews...
http://nothired.com/category/interviews/
And other dumb things:
Quote:
“The job description included the following requirements: - Set up and maintain specialized computer equipment and software.
- Perform some technical duties related to computer functions and operations.
- Provide assistance to student users of computers.
- Train students in the use of specialized software applications.
An applicant called our office requesting that we mail her an application for this position. We told her that an application could be downloaded from the college’s website.
She replied that she could not download the application because she did not use computers.”

I am going to go with yes, since they made a website about it

OK, I've done that before.

I don't know. Some of those are pretty weird, but others are kind of indicative of some sort of mental illness.

Hahahahaha that list was priceless!! Some of those were too crazy to believe. And if they did happen, I wonder if some people didnt even want the job and just went in to mess with em. Either that or I just refuse to believe theres that many crazies in the world.

This was the picture on the front page of the Daily Interlake today. The local paper for the Flathead and Kalispell area. How stupid is this lady? A duck?
Duck walk Amber Keeley opens the door for her pet duckling “Rallie” at Gateway West Mall in Kalispell. Keeley said the blue Swedish duckling goes everywhere with her, including to a job interview at TeleTech on Friday. “I didn’t want to leave her in the car because it was cold,” Keeley said with a chuckle. Plus, Keeley said, she just loves animals. “I have three dogs, four cats, a bunny, a bird and a duck. Oh yeah, I have three horses too.” Garrett Cheen/Daily Inter Lake

I don't see how holding the door open for a duck warrants a stupidity stamp, let alone be so bad that it deserves a spot in this thread.
Dumb would have been to indeed leave the duck in the car, or to let go of the door while the duck makes his/her exit.
I really like the picture too.

Or threatening to bite the ducks head off if you don't get the job.
That would be stupid . . . . or would it.

Keep in mind the context. She is shown holding open the door for the duck that she took to the interview with her.

Maybe it was a job to be a chef, and they were discussing how best to cook said duck?

I might not hire her, but I'd probably ask her on a date - she's probably a hell of a lot of fun.
Or crazy, one of those two.

Crazy, eh? Right up your alley. Did you meet her in Ponoka?
