I am in a winter league right now. We can't add players now, but next year we may be able to.
I also want to find a south summer league. I made the mistake of playing with my winter team last summer and most lived in north so every game pretty much was at crowfoot and I live in copperfield, so south is what I am looking for this year.

Try the Alberta Summer Hockey League ( www.albertasummerhockey.com). It's a great league with great ice times.
What a lot of guys do is contact the league and tell them they're looking for a place to play. They'll inquire about your skill level and then put your name and number on the website, and then you may or may not get some calls from team reps. The season starts at the end of April, and guys are putting their teams together now as the first payment is due at the end of February.

Hmm does anyone know of a summer league that's for players under 18? I've been looking for one but all of the summer leagues were 18+.

If somebody steps up and runs with a summer team, I'm in.

true but it was consistantly terrible and weird calls.
I got in a fight and only got 2 minutes and 2 games later collided with someone and got kicked out. I guess that was karma though right.

I wonder if this Calgarypuck team idea could get some legs. Me and Jayems already play together, and he can play out or in goal.

What league do you play in? I just contacted the Alberta Summer Hockey League and they are looking for $500 per individual or $7200 per 20 man team for a Summer League. That sounds ludacris to me. What do you pay per season?

I paid $675 for my winter league. 46 games + playoffs.
And that WRAHL is the worst league I've ever played in! Complete joke!

I think so - I bet Aeneas would like to play too. Then, there are all the people that played in the Heckle.
