yes I am coping the Rangers.. But it was a good feature and setup so I figured why not..

Goaltending;

(1) Curtis McElhinney (2nd year in AHL Some NHL time)
(2) Justin Peters (2nd year int the AHL)
(3) Linden Rowat (Junior)

Comments; CPHL Senators are happy with thier current goalies.. With Fluery being so young we have time to develop a young goalie. Curtis had a brief period in the NHL and has shown some good things in the AHL Just needs time to develop. Peters is developing nicly and appears to be on his way to being a potential starter in the NHL one day. Rowat is a good young goalie who has become a starter in Junior. We look for him to develop and compete for a spot sometime down the road. Would still like to see about getting a blue chip prospect at some point.

Defense;
(1) Mark Staal (first year in NHL)
(2) Alex Plante (Junior)
(3) Mathieu Carle (1st year on the AHL)
(4) Clayton Stoner (3rd year in AHL)

Comments; Defense is lead by the 21 year old Marc Staal. Mark is currently playing top solid minutes with the NHL Rangers. Alex Plante is another top player A first round pick in the NHL Oilers. Big and strong had some injury problems in the Junior this year but looks to be a blue chip prospect on D. Carle is an offensive Dmen.. has put up points everywhere he has gone. overall we are happy with our current stable of young Dmen
Forwards;
(1) Johnathan Toews (first year in NHL)
(2) Michael Backlund(Sweden)
(3) Jack Skille (First year in the NHL)
(4) Ilya Zubov (first year in the AHL)
(5) Cal O'reilly (third year in the AHL)
(6) Bryce Swan (Junior)

Comments; Forwards are lead by Johnathan Toews. Toews is projected to be a first liner and possibly Franchise center in the NHL. Michael Backlund is another blue chip prosepect.. Possible 2nd line center is coming off a great world Juniors. Jack Skille another young gun has gotten time in the NHL this season scoring 3 goals so far.
Other Prospects worth mentioning
(1) Even Linsen
(2) Dana Tyrell (solid player in the recent WJC)
(3) Alexander Picard
(4) David VanderGulik

Having Toews is a huge deal. I think he's a very special player. Of course the Staal trivecta is a good core of assets to have too.
