Default Help me figure out this song!
So I was fairly inebriated this weekend and remember hearing a song that I wanted to do an acoustic cover of. The thing is I forgot almost everything about the song except that it's a male singer and the first verse goes "blank blank blank by the fireside...." and that's all I know. It's a fairly popular song, I just can't place it. If the CP faithful can figure this out, I'll be astonished but its worth a try.
Thread worthy? Of course not, but if CP can't figure it out then I'll never get it.

Not what you're looking for, judging by the speed....unless it's a cover of this one. I just found it by googling and thought it was great.

LOL, OK so you found a song you liked when you were drunk. And it MIGHT have "by the fireside" in the lyrics... Maybe that was Motley Crue's "On The Wildside"... who knows...

By the time you actually track it down (sober) it probably will sound like Mr Hanky The Christmas Poo.
