Page numbers
Having trouble getting to the last page of some threads. For example if their is a thread that has seven pages and the last post i read was on the sixth i'll finish reading the sixth page but when i click on the next page button it just sends me back to the top of page six. Is anyone else having this trouble, if not can someone help me fix it? Thanks in advance

I am also having this issue.
Using IE6.0 at work. Mozilla at home seems to be fine.

It's a forum software thing, I'll take care of it on this side. Thanks.

In IE it's weird, I was still getting it after I did the fix, until I finally just went to the first page of the thread and then it worked fine.
It must still be caching something, so either do a SHIFT-REFRESH or clear the cache.

Doesn't it have something to do with deleted posts?

Yeah it usually does, but I can force a rebuild of the post data and it should fix it.. and if it works in Firefox but not in IE, then it's a caching problem not a server problem.
The one thread linked I was having the problem with in IE after I ran the update but before I forced it to refresh the page.
So if someone is still getting it, please link the thread and in what browser (and try the "other" browser to see if it still happens). Or try changing your control panel setting to a different # of posts per page and go to the first page of the thread.

I'm having the same trouble again, both in IE 7.0 and Opera.
It's showing a page 7 on this thread http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthr...t=55097&page=6 but everytime i click on the 7 or next page button it just sends it back to the top of page 6.

I wonder if it is a bug with this version of the forum software? I notice this problem too when the number of posts are equal to how many posts I have set to display on a page at a time.
For example, I have mine set at displaying 60 posts at a time. If it were 60, 120, or 180, I would get 2, 3, or 4 pages respectively when it should only be 1, 2, and 3. Clicking the last page always just always puts me to the top of the previous page because there really are no posts on that "last" page (at least until the 61st, 121st, or 181st, and etc posts are submitted). My guess is the forum software is actually displaying that there is one more page than there actually is.

It's not really a bug, sometimes when moderators do a specific operation a thread info rebuild is supposed to be performed through the software, but since that takes resources sometimes we wait until off hours to do it. I'm running the rebuild right now so it should be ok.
