A CIBC cash machine was recently dispensing Canadian Tire money at a Moncton mall.
Kayla Peters, 16, said she was shocked when she withdrew $60 on Nov. 29. She received two $20 bills and two $2 bills in Canadian Tire money.

can someone please explain to me that EVEN IF it spit on the wrong bills, why it spit out 4 bills and not three?
Shouldn't it have been 3 $20s she recieved? That's 3 bills, but she got 4.
ungreatful teenager, askes for 3 bills gets 4 and complians, back in my day when we had to walk to school in neck deep snow, up hill, both ways..... :P

Some machines give 2 tens for the last bills instead of 1 twenties.
At Royal Bank Machines if you withdraw 20$ you get 4 5$ bills.

Ah, the days of the old Den at the U of C.
The only bank machines that I ever knew that gave out 5$ bills. Since drinks were $2.75, it made sense.

Hasn't been like that for probably 2 years now.. Royal phased out $5's as far as I know.

At U of C this trend still continues. Please seem shocked when I come back with 4 $5's after going to the bank machine.
