Default Only 22% of Calgarians work downtown...

Anyone have any other numbers on this other than what is quoted in the following: (pg. 16.)

With the city as large as it is (area wise) I'm surprised its that high.

What???

lol

Have you been to downtown after 5pm? EMPTY

I think you're confusing Vancouver's with Calgary's downtown.

I read in a textbook San Fran is about 12%, LA a bit lower. 22% is high relative to other NA cities. New York being the exception because the entire island is a downtown.

Ummm... yup... most people are off of work by then.. probably not the best time to judge our downtown work population.

That's what I thought. Our entire city's like a big, work funnel towards downtown every morning and then the opposite at night. Everyone floods into work for 8-9:00am and leaves accordingly at the end of the day.
