Default Dallas v. LA, TODAY!

Big game in the Western Conference; Mavs... Lakers... Kobe... Kidd... The interest in the NBA peaked, ten-fold after all the big name trades! Today's game is gonna a big showdown of the Lakers maintaining their power in the West and Dallas proving that spending $11mil and trading away depth pushes them back to the top. Can't Wait!

Tip-Off 1:30MST

Exciting game... Great finish! Dirk with the triple to send it into overtime. Pau fouling Kidd with 2 seconds left... And 1! Missed free throw... Lakers by 4. Insane. Dampier had a great game, 16 points - 17 rebounds... and Kobe finished with 56. It was fun.

Piss poor defense by the Lakers to let Dirk get off the tying 3 in regulation and then fail to guard him on the exact same play in OT - lucky for them he missed. That foul call on Gasol against Kidd was sad - no way that should have been called, he barely touched him if at all. Kobe put the team on his back once again and played great defense to go along with the 56 points. All in all, a very entertaining game!!!

The Western Conference playoffs are gonna off the hook. This was a small prelude to the type of action we're gonna see in a few months. Great Game.

The Jazz also beat the Mavs last night in what was also a very good tight game. The West is so full of good teams. If the Raptors were in the West they would be lucky to be sniffing the playoffs. Ditto likely every Eastern team other than Detroit and Boston.

I don't wanna think the Mavs are in trouble because they have such a talented team and there are some excellent plays that Kidd makes to Erick Dampier and Josh Howard. Dirk was decent last night, but struggled on Sunday. They should be able to put it together, but Houston, whom have won 15-straight, are next.

Interesting game versus New Jersey on Saturday night.
