If I were you I'd do the essay, get some sleep, then get up early and see if the site is back up (although *I* could get to it just fine, although I don't a subscription to log into it and look something up), then shoehorn your "research" into your already substantially completed paper.
Well, to be more precise, if I were you, I'd go to 7-11, get a huge slurpee, load up on caffeine and stay up all night playing video-games, then fake illness so I had the whole weekend to do it. Then wait 'till Sunday night and go through this all over again. Ah, academia!
PS - and I'd look into an ESL class where I could learn to write passable English.

I was just gonna recommend the JSTOR one myself, its a good one. Another one that I found was Gale, galenet.gale.com/
Hopefully it works out for you. Good luck.

Is there not a built-in spelling checker? When you misspell a word it will be underlined? I find it difficult to let a post go with mistakes.
The spell checker may not be available to everyone?

But to tell the guy to take some ESL courses is kinda rude when you don't know his background. I know sometimes I type things in a hurry and I am sure I spell a few things wrong once and a while.
Also Ive been a member for almost 2 years and this is the first time I noticed the spell checker, so maybe he is in the same boat.
Either way I don't care I just think it is harsh when some people who I guess are perfect jump on a member for some spelling errors, its sometimes treated like its the end of the world.

Have you checked your school's library site?
The one at UofC has hundreds of links to online peer-reviewed articles (need to be a student to access it). Or you can take a trip to your school's library and ask the librarian and get some help from them.

Mhhm. I didn't realize CP had the grammar and spelling police working tonight Look SteveToms don't you have something better to due than be over critical on someones quite obviously rushed typing..... no? thought so....
Well anyways thanks you guys despite some of you sarcastic comments *cough* jammies*cough* that I did not exactly enjoy, some of you managed to be very helpful and I am glad to report my essay as done.
And yea I'm from Ontario, pity me
P.s yea i know books, there the things filled with paper right? Well the building that holds ours is well completely useless but that just how thing "work" in Ontario.
