.NET Developer
Commerx is looking for talented developers with a focus on .NET to join our team of enterprise development professionals. You will be working in a fast-paced team environment where you will be responsible for helping design and develop enterprise projects both big and small. Commerx provides a collaborative environment where everybody's opinions are valued and, as such, we will look to you for suggestions and ideas as to how to best develop a project and support it via our IT infrastructure. Required Skills:
• 1-2 years .NET enterprise level experience
• Excellent general problem solving skills
• Possesses the initiative and desire to approach difficult problems with tenacity and confidence
• Well-rounded individuals who have an attention to detail, take pride in their work, and are driven to maximize client satisfaction.
Cool Skills to have:
• PHP, Perl, Ruby, Python experience ... we're looking for diverse skills – if you have experience in developing and supporting big ol’ applications, we want you!
• Experience building and deploying software within a SharePoint environment
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other database development
• Knowledge of JavaScript and the DOM (DHTML)
• Familiarity with Win2K servers, IIS, Linux, BSD, Apache platforms a plus
Beneficial Skills:
• Experience in the oil and natural gas industry – both upstream and downstream
• Knowledge of JUnit, NUnit or other automated testing platforms and programs
• Experience with Crystal Reports, Jasper or other reporting applications
• Understand the importance of separating logic from presentation.
• Experience with multi-tier design and/or MVC is a huge plus.
• Experience with web design, with a focus on advanced CSS ("table-less design")
