Detroit are far and away the class of the league, in my opinion.

Boston also has tried harder than anyone else in the league so far during the regular season. Their "Big 3" are playing huge minutes, moreso than other teams big players.
The Spurs have had numerous injury problems and are basically on the same pace they were last year when they won the whole deal.
We'll see what happens once the play-offs start and teams like Phoenix, Dallas and San Antonio, who realise that the regular season is just a tune up, start to really turn it on and give their full effort.
Boston has done a good job with what they had but their big three is still not as good as Nash, Marion and Amare and Phoneix's other players are 10x times better, they don't have a Duncan or the all round team that SA has, they have no Nowitzki or again the solid team that Dallas has and they have nowhere near the coaching that those three teams have.
Detroit could give one of the big three Western teams problems if Chauncy can hit his shots and they are able to slow down Phoenix, but they seem to be a lesser version of SA and at best equal to Dallas, and thats without Kidd.
It should be interesting as the East has shown that while they suck big time overall in comparison that if they can get their best in the Final that they can beat a Western team. This year despite the great regular seasons they are having come play-off time I just can't see Detroit or Boston hanging with the best from the West, if that Western team is healthy. They are just too strong, too good, too well coached and too well built for the play-offs, not to look great in the regular season.
