Default Ordering on Amazon.ca

You know when you order a couple of items and you come up like 4 bucks short of free shipping?

Anyone have any ideas about kind of cool, eclectic movies or books that I can order to finish off my order?

Even random music selections would be cool.

Fantastic series that I've enjoyed a couple times already - so decided to buy the DVD.

That's a great suggestion. I really enjoyed the series when it aired on OLN.

The worst thing is that I know there is a semi-interesting film that I've been meaning to order, but I JUST CAN'T REMEMBER it now.

If you liked Long Way Round but want something that you haven't seen you can also try:
http://www.amazon.ca/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?...0&Go.y=0&Go=Go

"Race to Dakar" - It didn't get the attention that Long Way Round got for some rasons (I don't think it's aired on TV here)...and in fact I didn't know about it until it came up as a suggestion on amazon when I was purchasing LWR.

Just ordered it myself and started watching- fantastic series as well. Ewan Mcgregor is just in it occasionally - this is Charlie Boorman's deal. But it's the same production team as from Long Way Round and is very good too.

I'm waiting for frickin Long Way Down to be released - so far its only available across the pond.

Anyhoo either one are worthy DVDs to add to a collection.

Order this and then give it to me:

http://www.amazon.ca/Metal-Swarm-Sag...1874993&sr=8-2

It's the only thing I want from Amazon but not worth enough to actually order . . . and I haven't seen it at Chapters yet.

Is Amazon ever smart in putting up that free shipping deal. They must make a killing off that.

"I need $4 worth of stuff to get free shipping! I know, i'll buy another $20 dvd that I may or may not watch to get the free shipping, even though shipping is only $6."

Talk about an extremly good sales ploy. And i've done it before too.

I saw a website a while ago where you would put in how much more you needed from Amazon.com to get to the free shipping and it would return to you a list of items that cost roughly that much.

Definitely, definitely, get "My New Filing Technique Is Unstoppable" and "My New Fighting Technique Is Unstoppable" by David Rees. They are like 87% off, coming in at a solid $2 each. Check out www.mnftiu.cc for more info.

Yeah, but it's totally worth it. Who wants to pay like $8 for shipping?

I also like the fact that amazon uses CanadaPost, easy pickup locations, dont have to drive all the way to the airport by 7pm when I normally dont get home until then to pick stuff up.

I think those books were selling for $1 at my work. The author must have some mental difficulties, that's all I gotta say. Demented!
