Default This guy makes the $54 million pants lawyer look like a saint

I absolutely love how this story feels like it was designed to make the idiot look as bad as possible.

A traffic report said Delgado was traveling 113 km per hour (70 mph) in an area where the speed limit is 90 km (55 mph). An independent expert hired by Trinidad's family said Delgado was going 173 km per hour (107 mph).

Not the best public relations concept for Delgrado's business.

I laughed because my brother in law just bought an Audi R8 so I thought A8 would be similar. Quite the difference.

There's an R8 parked in the basement of my building. Solid flippin' car! His winter vehicle is a Bentley though...

That's a ballsy move on Delgado's part. I can't believe he thought it would work or even that it wouldn't get him killed if he somehow ended up winning.

Wow, now that is one serious grade A ######bag. One can only hope he drives himself off a cliff during the course of his day.

How is killing someone when speeding not a criminal offense?

Even THAT... because it does not seem like Delgado was doing it Self-Defense at all. How he did he get away with that?

My dad was driving taxi on 17th ave many years ago and this guy tried to run across the road to try and get the bus, and tried to pull his girlfriend with him but she refused to come. My dad hit him and killed him.

He went to trial but was acquitted since he did nothing wrong, the guy just ran out in front of him. However as I recall, had he been speeding he would have been found guilty.

How could he possibly have thought he'd actually WIN his case? Not only an Olympic-class dirtbag, but brain-dead too? It probably took him the two years to find the one lawyer in Spain who'd take that case, as even the sleazeballs probably considered it career suicide to be associated with the very idea of it.
