Default Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Denied Entry Into Canada, Cancels Tour Dates

Hip-hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony were denied entry into Canada early Wednesday morning (January 30), as they prepared to head on a sold out tour through the country, BallerStatus.com learned.

The group said they were told their entry into Canada was denied by Customs officials because their music was "too violent," which they cannot understand.

Was anyone going to go to this concert? Whats funny is they say they were denied entry because their music was to "violent".

Do you really think they refused them entry because of their music?

I don't think this group is that "Hard-Core". You never even hear about them in trouble with the law either.

I am guessing that playing violent music is not a reason to being refused entry into Canada.

lyrics too violent? I can almost guarantee that the customs officers wouldn't be able to repeat single word until they listened to the album at least 5-6 times. I like Bone thugs (new album sucked balls though) and I can only grasp 25% of their lyrics on the first listen.

fast forward to 3:30 to see what I mean if you have never heard them rap

Finally, our Immigration guys are doing something useful!

80% likelihood this was due to one of the members having a criminal record; 20% that it was failing to follow proper work visa etc. requirements.

Canada customs shouldn't even be allowed to say that their not letting the group into the country because their lyrics are too violent. Guess what, that's up to me to decide, not the government.

Say the actual reason their not coming here, and don't make up this bs excuse that the government is looking out for my wellbeing, and that i'm better off not hearing bad lyrics. Total BS.

I'm not going to the concert, and I only know that one crossroads song, but this is just ridiculous. Same thing with Marilyn Manson way back when the city canceled his shows.

We're supposed to believe that link? A site named "ballerstatus.com" definitely can be counted on to present news in the most objective light...

I highly doubt they were denied entry due to their lyrics or concert antics.
