Panthers get a big win after losing 2 in a row to the Oil. Wellwood in his second game as a Panther got a goal and an assist in a 5-2 win. Corvo back from injury picked up 2 assists. Richards picked up an assist, while Gaborik was held off the score sheet. Van Ryn also got an assist and a goal. This is a good sign that the Panthers can start producing outside Gaborik and Richards.
Fernandez wasn't busy facing only 17 shots, while Panthers got 32 shots on the Jets net.

Wings get 2 rare points against Minnesota. Mike Comrie and old man Recchi leading the way in this one. Turco played a good game but decided the all star break was not enough time off and is once again tired. Being in a dog fight for a playoff spot he is going to have to suck it up. Another game tomorrow night against the Rangers.
