Default car audio question

So I bought a new pioneer head unit, I wired it up (just by matching the colors of wires and reading the instructions) and I turned on the car and the deck did not light up. When I was cutting the wires the battery one sparked because I was an idiot and forgot to disconnect the battery. So I disconnected the battery and began to wire it in. It still did not turn on. The interior light in the car wont turn on now and the power locks wont work. The power windows and everything else still works. Does this sound like a fuse problem perhaps? What should I do?

Almost definitely sounds like a blown fuse. Check your manual to see which one it is based on what's not working so you don't have to go thru all of 'em.

99.9% its a fuse... the interior light is a dead giveaway!
