Default Recommendations for Dog Kennels

Another question for the all knowing at CP

Wondering if anyone knows of a kennel that they can recommend? I have a small dog and am looking for somewhere that I can kennel her for the occasional weekend. Looking for something in the south.

TIA

I've used on down SW of the city, off of 22x, Beinnennen Kennels or something like that. Seemed pretty good.

That kennel is good and there is another great kennel on the south side of 22X, called StoneHaven Kennels, excellent, creme de creme of kennels. Just keep going west to the next intersection and turn left (south), the two kennels are within a mile of each other.

When you go to pick up your dog(s), they will be freshly shampooed and their blankets will have been freshly washed too. By the way, they also babysit cats.

Sorry to hijack, does anyone know of a good dog training school.

I am buying a Bulldog in April/May (so long as everything goes good with the birth) amd am just wondering of a training school for some simple commands etc.

Thanks.

Sit Happens is good. They're a bit pricey but we were happy... sithappens.com or .org I believe...

I was kinda so-so with Sit Happens. We had taken our dog there for all of his puppy playschool classes and then introductory obedience, and most of it was great, but half-way through the obedience class our instructor left, and the replacement instructor was quite rough, and pulled on our dog's leash so hard that he coughed and wheezed and hacked up food. Really unnecessary and careless. So for the last few weeks I refused to let her handle him. I think that was just one bad instructor, though. All the other instructors and handlers that I interacted with there were pretty good.

Right now our guy is taking agility at Superdog Spectrum, and the instructor there is fantastic, but she just does agility so I have no idea how their obedience instructors are.
