Default XBox360 vs. PS3, which should I buy?

So I'm about to buy a new system in the next couple months, and I'm wondering which I should go with. I've heard convincing arguments from my buddies from both sides, and I'd like to hear what others on here have to say. I'd prefer to hear from people with both systems, as people have a tendency to just back whatever they have(as I know my friends are doing, hence me starting this). Try to be as unbiased as you can please. What are the real advantages/disadvantages of each? Thanks!

Might want to wait for the white ceramic version of the PS3 if are leaning that way.

Personally unless you want blueray player I would go with the x360 until there is a game you really want.

The number of 360's out there dwarf the number of PS3 so its likely unless a game maker has a hate on for M$ or Sony doles out the cash, that the 360 will continue to have a descent game selection.

personally i love the game play of the 360 , and even though u have to pay for live , and it sometimes it has problems i find the multiplayer alot more fulfilling than the ps3...... i do have both , and i love both but i have found because i love the gameplay more on the 360 i use that for games and no im using the ps3 for just blu-ray dvds
