UFC in Montreal - April 19th

UFC 84, and Dana White and the UFC brass are giving us Canadian MMA fans a huge card.

George "Rush" St. Pierre vs Matt Serra for the welterweight title
Karo Parysian vs Thiago Alves
Evan Tanner vs Yushin Okami
Jason MacDonald vs Joe Doerkson
and the return of Maricio "Shogun" Rua vs not known yet.

Mac Danzig, Patrick Cote, Sam Stout all rumoured to be on the card as well, the latter two giving it more Canadian flavour to go with MacDonald, Doerkson, and St. Pierre.

Why this card is huge?

-It has P4B maybe the best fighter in the world, St. Pierre in a re-match with the man who shockingly took the welterweight (170 pound) title from him a year ago.
-Parysian vs Alves, in which Parysian would pretty much give himself a title shot next at welterweight
-The return of Evan Tanner, who took alot of time off for various personal reasons. He is facing Yushin Okami, in what should be another #1 contenders match
-Shogun Rua... coming off a stunning lose, at the time the #1 fighter at 205, he will be looking to win, big time. Always exciting, always fun to watch

A plethora of talented Canadian fighters.

Just a huge fight card so far.

If someone gets 2 extra tickets i will buy them! That would so worth a trip to Montreal! As if i needed additional reasons...
