Superbowl Question

Does anyone know if the home team of the city hosting the Superbowl has actually been one of the teams in the big game? Just wondering as I know it's happened from time to time in the CFL with the Grey Cup
(BC Lions 94 etc.).

In 1980 the Rams played in LA but it was at the Rose bowl not their home stadium, the LA COliseum.

In 1985 the 49ers played in San Francisco but at Stanford Stadium, not Candlestick (?) which I think was their home field.

So two teams have been the home team of the city hosting but not played in their home stadium.

edit: it was 1980, as HOOT pointed out not 1970.
