Default ROUND 61 - Guess the Movie - Tourney Round 4!!!!

OK, here is the new Double Elimination bracket.

Here is an example:
The loser of the underGRADFlame VS Prottotype match will drop down and face the winner of the Displaced Flame Fan VS Flame On match.

The players in the top bracket can still lose 1 round and go on to win this Tourney. The players in the lower bracket who have already lost can not lose again or they are out.

The new round pictures will be posted at the start of tonight's Flame/Predators game and will run until 8:00am Thursday.

No back door winners! If anyone clearly throws a match to take the loser bracket so the competition is weaker, they deserve a custom title "Backdoor Champion"
This isn't Esso Minor Hockey Week!

Haha, you can be sure that will not be a movie in the Tourney.

Its a mix of both. When you posted the titles I saw that I shoulda known some, but when I was eliminated my soul was crushed, and I had no drive. But now that I'm back in, not only is my soul alive and well, its jacked up on Steroids (scene it steroids)!

Actually, just got a good idea. If anyone in Calgary wants to get together for some Scene It! steroids before a Flames game let me know.

I always felt double elimination sucked for the person coming in on the top bracket, having not lost, then if you lose in the final your out, you don't get the second chance. Not saying I disagree with the format for this, as I don't plan on losing, but just saying LOL

Any tourney I've been in, if the undefeated loses in the final, there is a rubber match. I think HD would probably do that, he's been making this extremely fair.

Yeah, if you notice on the right hand side of the Bracket above. Once the 2 major brackets meet there is a little offshoot (if necessary). If the top bracket winner takes the round the Tourney is over. If they lose the 2 finalists play again (rubbermatch) to determine the winner as both would have only lost 1 round each.

I thought you were just drunk.
Actually the more I look at it, is that thing down bottom necessary? With the way it is at the end, doesn't that do the trick?

The one at the bottom is to decide 5th overall.

Here is an example from Wiki it may help explain if you follow it.

I'll play with whatever rules you set out HD, cause you're doing an awesome job... BUT...

As far as I'm concerned, whoever wins out of the top 8 is the winner. Regardless who makes it to your finals. The rules were clear, tie break was time. I hate to be an ass here, but a 10 out of 10 that took 20mins is better than a 10 out of 10 that took 21 mins.

Again, bang up job, but if a "loser bracket" is to win this thing, I wont reccognize it.

And before you all pile on me for these comments, understand that this next round may be my last due to my son being born sometime, hopefully, in the next week or so. I'm lucky to even have the time to post this rant from my work computer.

The chances of me winning this thing are slim. I'll probably be in the losers bracket soon...

You are ready for your baby boy to be born, you're already acting like one! JK!

I do understand your points. I didn't think of this format before, I wish I had as I like it better. For that reason I made the change.

As I said, you're doing an awesome job, and I'll play by whatever rules you dictate, but if I win out of the top 8, and lose to someone from the losers lounge, I'll still consider myself the winner.
