Wow. He had so much potential. I was reading up on him not long ago and he has a long history of drug and alcohol problems. I also think he was arrested for stealing yacht? Sorry to hear the news.

From now on whenever you watch one of his movies it'll be Brad Retro.

Unlike a lot of child actors, he was putting together a decent career as an adult too. He may not have been a star, but he was working in some pretty decent projects.

What is it with young people in show business just throwing it all away all the time?

Pretty talented guy.

When I read the thread title I thought, " I wonder who that is?" Saw Brad Renfro and thought "Of course."

It was bound to happen sooner or later?

Not every celebrity with alcohol and drug problems dies from it. Look at Vince Neil, he's living a long and succesful life....

Unfortunate to hear none the less.

He played the young version of Brad Pitt (?) in Sleepers and I remember thinking back then that the kid was good.

Was "The Cure" a big movie? Had never even heard of it until I saw it on TV a couple weeks back. Looks like it was done around the same time as The Client, as he looks the exact same. It's also with the young boy from Jurassic Park. It was a decent movie, nothing spectacular.
