Default Huge Blu Ray sale at Amazon.com. Buy 1 get 1 free.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.htm...rd_i=193640011

I know they run this promo all the time but never with these movies.

You can pick up the 1st 4 Harry potter movies for $10each. Also the Die hards come to $14each.

Also remember with Amazon.com you have to pay for shipping but you do not have to pay GST or duty since they ship from their Ontario depot.

Canadians can order from amazon.com.

There was also a similar deal for HD-DVD over the holidays, but it has been largely picked over. The HP movies are long gone, for example.

Generally, I agree that Amazon.com has better prices - especially for HD-DVD and Blu-ray.

But, I noticed that Amazon.com has Sienfeld - Season 8 for $19.99, which is a great deal. Amazon.com was way more on that one. I added one other decently priced box set to get the free shipping.

From Amazon.com, you have to pay for the shipping (still cheaper than free shipping from Amazon.ca), and it ussually takes about 7-10 business days.

Honestly, it is rare that this happens. In the past half of year, I've purchased about 60 items from Amazon.com and 4 items from Amazon.ca.

I usually receive it between 7to 10 days. There was a bit of delay during christmas though.

Too bad they only ship dvds and books to canada. They have this Henkels twin signature knife set for only $99.

Is the offer not working for anyone else?

I selected 300 and Kingdom to Heaven, but when I go to check-out it still has them both at the original price...

Also, I'm guessing the Super Saver Shipping is only available to US customers off of Amazon.com, right?

You have to go right to the end before you submit your order to see the savings.

eBay to me is the single best place to buy Blu-Ray's, outside of this deal.

How do you know if they are legit?

Kobatuzzied, thank you for the heads up. I need some blurays to help celebrate the arrival of my new tv next week. I was looking for something just like this.

By the seller rating mostly. I check the comments from buyers and you can usually tell in the item description on who is bs, and who isn't.

movies2go is an awesome seller. Just ordered my 2nd Blu-Ray from them, $20 shipped.

No worries. $65 for all 5 Harry potters on blu ray is about half the price they are selling here at Futureshop and Walmart. Also 300 for $10 is pretty cool.

Wow, you must have alot of great hobbies...

I can't speak for everyone, but I buy my movies to collect AND to have the opportunity to watch them again without needed to find it at a rental place.

I have a problem with movie theaters. For the price of admission, snacks, drinks. You can wait until it's released on DVD/BD/HD-DVD and buy it for less money, and own it forever.

I don't buy a lot of movies, but there's special exceptions for certain movies.

I could easily see myself watching 300 several times again.

Add the fact that movies are almost $6.00 to rent at Blockbuster and the inevitable restocking fees I always have and $10.00 for the movie is a bargain.

Kinda off topic, but does it cost the same to rent Blu-Rays as it does regular DVDs?
