Default Resolution Motivation Thread

I think I once heard that about one quarter of New Years resolutions fail in an average of about 15 weeks.

Whether you're trying to lose weight, budget more efficiently, get rid of a vice or two, or get a better job, everyone could use a little push now and then to keep going. While a lot of people roll their eyes or laugh at failed resolutions, they are being made for a reason, and are probably important/necessary changes that should be made.

I thought it would be neat for people to post their success on here and see how long everyone keeps up their progress. Let's go for 16 weeks!

So let's hear some success stories, updates, words/videos/songs of motivation and push each other to beat these challenges.

Here's what I'm going to watch every day to help me get back to my fighting weight. I know it's cheesy, but I get goosebumps from this guilty pleasure

I'm game.

My resolution, as part of my battle against my problems, is to live life. Basically, just get out and do things. Don't have to be big things, just things I haven't done in the past.

I already started this in December, so I've got a two week head start on y'all. So far, I've gone to the ballet (yeah, seriously), just finished volunteering at the Mac's, and will be starting with the CSSC next week. Planning on going camping in the summer, planning to check out a shooting range with a buddy. Thinking about a first aid course and taking up a martial art, though that getting in shape thing should probably happen first.
