Default Sportchek Zone Flames Tickets

I was just wondering if anyone has tried buying tickets from the actual Sportchek stores (if this even exists).

I have never tried getting tickets from Sportchek but I thought I'd give it a try since it's hard getting tickets in the second and lower bowls.
Does anyone know how it works? Like do the stores sell on gameday or do they have certain days where they release tickets?

Also, since I've never been in the Sportchek Zone, how's the atmosphere up there? Is it hard to see the ice or the players?

Any info would help. Thanks!

you can buy the tickets via the internet, the atmosphere is usually fairly good, although it sometimes depends on the opposition, get there early so you can get good seat , otherwise they are all gone and you have to weave through people, you get a pretty decent view as you get to see the entire ice, although if you have bad eye sight you might not be able to see the numbers on the jersey. If you are going to a Van game prepare to deal with some loud drunk Van fans (you get some nice ones too).Other than that its great

I bought them from Sportchek in the past, just ask them. The seating is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE so timing is everything.

Try not to sit in the path of the cameras or the camera guy will block you. I sometimes bring binoculars because it is indeed pretty far sometimes. Sometimes I'll be munching nachos and find myself accidentally just watching the game on the three projection TVs they have up there instead of the actual game below!!! It's like I forgot I was actually at the game and was just sitting at home or at a bar. One good thing is the sportchek/ultimate fan zone have their own bathrooms and concessions.

Sport chek stores release tix usually about 4 home games in advance, and then you just buy them from the store. You can phone any Chek and they can tell you the date they will release tix for certain games
