I had a client call me last Thursday. He says he Xpress-posted me a cheque and that I should get it Friday. He says he will email me the tracking number. Friday arrives, no tracking number, no cheque. I call him, no answer, email, nothing. I need the cheque so I had no option but to come in today and sit around waiting and hoping the bloody thing comes in. Merry friggin Christmas.

I'm out at 1:00 (23 minutes here). I've had 2 Bailey's and coffee and a Disarrono and orange juice.

When I get home I have to shovel and wrap presents. Me and bourbon or beer are going to have a fun afternoon!

I have the joy of working both my jobs today. 8-12:30 at the Flames (Which I love, but am bored... I'm in the chatroom if anyone wants to say hi!) and then 1:30 to 8PM at Telus. Oh the joy.

I'm at work only because my employer takes the full eight-hour period off my vacation/time-off if I don't show up 8:30-12. On the bright side, one more hour and the boredom at work turns into nagging at home.
