Father who abused daughter, live on the Internet, gets four years
Quote:
The father, 35, was arrested in October of 2006, not even two hours after he exposed his daughter in front of a Webcam during an online discussion. The culprit did not realize his correspondent was a Toronto policeman who was part of an international sting operation.
A subsequent search of the father's computer turned up around 3,500 images of child pornography. But the case drew international notice because a father was generating and distributing images of his child in real time -- an unprecedented spectacle.

For people like him- I am almost for the death penalty... FOUR FREAKING YEARS???

Not sure why, but it seems that whenever there is a big child porn ring taken down the Toronto Police are always involved. They must have a distinct expertise that most other law enforcement agencies don't have because many times there aren't any Canadian citizens involved in the busts.
Agreed. The penalties for these people are disgusting.

not nearly harsh enough IMO. that is real sick.
sadly, in this day and age i wasn't shocked by his crime. disgusted, but not shocked. one thing that made me do a double take was this part:
Quote:
The father, whose name cannot be revealed to protect the identity of the child, has been twice attacked and has lost 130 pounds since being in protective custody
|
how much of a fat ass was this guy?!

I came on here to post this story, I am truly disgusted. Four years?? That's pathetic, at what point will people start taking law into their own hands because the courts refuse to come down harder....
It truly sickens me that I attend classes with people who will one day represent scum like this......I am appalled.

I saw an interview with them awhile ago, they have a specialized unit that deals with these things exclusively and a lot of LE around North America often request their assistance.

Jail time? Why not just cut off his nads?
No risk of re-offending if he doesn't have any junk.

I especially enjoy how the judge had the chance to set a stiff precendent for cases such as these, but instead he wimped out.
A sick part of me hopes that someone down the line plays with his grandchildren like this online and then try to see him justify how a 3 year penalty is fair to his own family. Thanks grandpa!
"I didn't seek treatment because I was afraid what my family would alienate me." Wow. Might as well show your daughter's vagina to the whole world, then. Where is that #1 Dad mug when you need it?
These sorts of things f'ing disgust me... both the crime and how the justice system handles them.

Yeah, four years is enough for these guys, because anything to do with sexual assault and children gets you killed in prision

Lets hope he dies in prison, maybe with a broom handle. The man is sick beyond anything we can understand.
I have 2 kids and any parent knows that there is so much trust from them to their parents that he abused that. I heard a little on the radio and the mother was commenting that mans parents are totally supporting her.
We can send a man to the moon, spend 500 billion dollars on war in Iraq but we cannot spend more money to understand how our brain works and why people do this? O wait since you won't make a profit on it, companies/goverments don't do anything about it except token grants.

In what he described as "a sickening case of breach of trust," Superior Court Judge John McGarry on Thursday sentenced an Ontario father to four years in prison for sexually assaulting his pre-school daughter -- live and online.
I'll tell you what is "a sickening case of breach of trust,"...its a Superior Court Judge who only gives the guy 20 more months in jail, what is left of a 4 year sentence for this pedophile. to me, that sentence is a joke.

Four years is a disgrace. Not only did he take advantage of a child in the worst possible way, it was his own daughter. Sick... Just sick.

Untrue. Most of this perversion has to do with the brain and not the balls. Some sex offenders are given a drug that would be like an anti-viagra... it means that you can't get it up. But the brain is still wired wrong, so they find a victim and a dildo.
Long prison sentences only keep them off the street longer. There is no hope of rehabilitation. Their brains are just wired wrong.
