Prosecutors said Larissa Schuster and her former lab assistant kidnapped her 45-year-old husband on July 10, 2003, knocked him out with a stun gun and chloroform-soaked rag, then dumped his bound body headfirst into a barrel while he was still breathing.
Dammit, when are they going to outlaw those things? Yet another death following a taser attack.

You're a biochemist, and you husband was found half-dissolved in a barrel you rented.

Im sure she thought that one out.

Actually, it was the storage unit that was rented, not the barrel.

You are a BIo chemist and you could only dissolve HALF your husband? She should be fired too!

I give her credit for at least having an idea about disposing of the body. I sick and tired of these people who are simply to lazy to dispose of the bodies of their murder victims.

Yeah, she figured she wouldn't get her damage deposit back on a barrel so she had to buy one.

Bones with no meat attached would be alot lighter to pack...would look suspicious draining a barrel down a storm drain though.

She could have sold some home brewed liquid plumber to the unsuspecting neighbours.
