And yes, the tickets on the sides are more expensive than the ones in the end. Unfortunately, most people prefer the perspective from the side so it does cost more. The upside is that it does create a more affordable option on the ends. You will also find that the price goes up significantly as you get closer (lower) to the ice surface.
