Default Bathtub liners

Has anyone got their bathtub redone, by a company that puts in tub liners and walls.
if so, how much $$$$? do they demo anything or just slap up the walls overtop of the existing tiles?
happy with the result?

As far as I can tell, it is a good, cheap, fast way to do a face lift on your washroom. Obviously not as good as tearing out the old and putting in the new but dynamite to do right before selling a house or something. No idea about the price but will watch this thread as I need to do something similar in my main washroom.

An aunt and uncle had it done a few years ago and they were impressed with the work. As for the cost - couldn't tell you.

I checked into this prior to doing our renovation. It will be about 60% of the price of doing all with tile etc. Of course, that would depend on what kind of quality tile you used or if you used marble etc. As for how long this type of products lasts, that I can not tell you.

If you have any problem with moisture behind whatever you presently have on your bathroom tiles/walls, do not put on this product as you will just be sealing in the leakage and problem. This product is good if you do not have any existing problems. We did have an existing problem in one of our bathrooms so in the end, we ripped everything out to the studs, put up that cement board for a backing, then tiles etc over that.

I believe their product for the walls was 8 feet maximum heighth, if higher, there will be a seam.

You can also just get the bathtub liner, don't have to get the whole kit. They also do showers and if you have a step up to get into the shower, that gets resurfaced too. It seemed the product and work was good but I can not guarantee that as we never went with it.

The whole procedure is done within a day.

"Mmm... look at all the warm, soapy water inside that tub. Why don't you take off your clothes and get in and get all soapy?"

I guess it's a little direct but sometimes you just gotta come right out and say it. These goofy '...cuz you been running through my mind all day' puns, they don't really work.

What?

Oh. Not those kind of liners.

Sorry.

We had our master bath and main bath re-done this year, we searched and compared prices got quotes for about 6 months....bottom line these liners are good but only for a bit more $$$ you can get everything done. I hate plugging places but we found Best Price bathrooms to be the best, they did our entire master bath floor, tile, got rid of old tub, put in new one, brand new toilet for under $4000, we got other quotes for the same job at $10,000 and the quality of work is amazing! Call Ray I think his number is 689-3978, it will be worth it for him to atleast take a look at it. They did the master in one weekend, they busted there butts for 2 days and were done by Sunday night. Very trustworthy also as we were in and out and could trust them in our home.
