Pretty impressive day for Jan Hudec.

Good stuff...its covered on CBC at 2:30.
I said this last year after results kept pouring in...I really hope that the team's not peaking too early....expectations in 2 years from now in Vancouver are going to be sky high, in a sport where there's so many variables to throw you off that 0.02 seconds and drop you to 10th and out of the medals on any given day.

This is great to hear. The Canadian alpine skiing program has really been picking up momentum lately. Hopefully this will result in some podium finishes in a couple years.

I just watched it. Looked like pretty tough conditions - flat light and blowing snow at the top of the run.

Good for him - he moved to Canada as a refugee from Czechoslovakia when he was 5 years old.

Why can't CBC show the entire runs? Do they think our attention spans are so short, we can only watch 30 seconds out of a 2 minute run? Does CBC have other scintillating programs, demanding an entire World Cup ski race, must be shown in 1 hour?
