When they can run for 30 minutes that'll be awesome. It'll really cut down on commuting everywhere, because you can go in a straight line, and not have to wait for traffic!

I saw a show on this (either Daily Planet or Wired). Basically jetpack technology hasn't gone anywhere in the last 30 or so years since the military stopped developing it. This technology will only allow for 30-45 seconds flights and nothing more; same flight times it got in the 1960s.
