Default How to make your home office more energy efficient and save money

Pretty cool article on how to get your home office more energy efficient. I'm going to try it out.

Anyone know where you can get a "Kill A Watt" meter in Calgary?

If I can get my hands on one of those "Kill A Watt" meters I'm also going to measure how much energy my Shaw PVR uses. It seems like that thing is a energy pig. I used to unplug it when I wasn't using it but that was causing problems like losing my channels and PVR ability.

I really wish Shaw PVR's had a sleep mode or something instead of spinning the disk and cranking out a lot of heat all day.

my old CRT monitor uses most of my power I'd bet. I'll swap it out for a flat screen.
