SABRES GOES TO OVERTIME FOR 5TH STRAIGHT GAME
Result not good

Panthers 3 Sabres 2

The Buffalo Sabres continue to struggle to make real progress in the CPHL standings. Despite outshooting the Panthers, they come up on the short end of the stick, likely suggesting that fatigue is setting in for JS Giguere. The team tried to rest him today, but ultimately missed the important deadline and Martin Gerber missed the bus. Still rumour is Gerber will start the next game. The lone bright spot for the Sabres was the 2 surprising goals, including one on the PP, for Cory Sarich. Kim Johnsson continues to struggle badly since being acquired from St Louis. The Sabres slip one point further out of a playoff spot.

Rangers 3 - Leafs 1

Rangers finally played a solid game. Rangers dominated the game outshooting the leafs 30-16. Cechmanek played brillant stopping 27 shots.

The injury bug is still hitting the Rangers hard. Sundin, Robidas are back from the IR but are still playing hurt. Allen is eligible to be removed from the IR.

Today Rob Niedermayer was kicked by a "gutless" Wayne Primeau. Primeau was given a 2 game suspension while Niedermayer is out 1-2 weeks. Rangers are totally disgusted with the length of suspension.

Tkachuk is on fire scoring another goal on the powerplay. Keith has 4 goals in his last three games.

Game Stars

1 - Cory Stillman (RAN)
2 - Keith Tkachuk (RAN)
3 - Ray Whitney (RAN)

Game Highlights

Goals - 3 players tied - 1
Assists - 6 players tied - 1
Points - Cory Stillman - 2
Shots - Ray Whitney - 5

Next Game - November 22nd against Oilers

Senators Get Thrashed.

Ottawa was steam rolled in this one. Losing 5-1 to the Thrash. We knew this would be a tough game and it was. The Thrashers came out scored on the PP 4 minutes into the game and did not look back from there.

The Senators took 8 Penalties and it cost them.

Next up a game vs the Blues.

AULD STEALS THE SHOW
Panthers 3 Sabers 2

It was the Alexander Auld show on Sunday night as he stopped almost everything sent his way. Giving Garon a much deserved night off, Auld stepped it up in a big way by notching his first win of the year.

"It feels great to get my first win of the season" said Auld. "The Panthers have given me plenty of opportunity to grab the #2 job and I plan on making them proud of their decision".

Jokenin and Martinek also keep their streaks alive. Jokenin got another point while Martinek was a +1.

"The Sabers provided us with more of a challenge than we thought they would...but we ultimately knew that we would come out on top" said Penney. "We are confident with the group we have here in Florida and we will be giving them every opportunity to show us what they can do".

The Panthers will look to continue their winning ways when they play the Hurricans on Monday.
