Russian bloggers expose Gravikol 21 pharmaceutical scam targeting pensioners

Last week, thousands of Russian bloggers used a retro Denial of Service attack to expose and destroy a pharmaceutical scam targeting pensioners to spend around half of their annual pension on a course of Gravikol 21 - an ‘anti-arthritis’ drug that is little more than a vitamin pill.

They made 21 million telephone calls to one company, forcing it to crash.

There is power in numbers.

Sweet. Now if people in Nigeria could do this to all the "Nigerian Princes" who want to "give us part of their inheritance".

They appear to have an aggregious abundance of free time.

Solid work though. Its about time someone fought back against the evil spam world.

It wasn't a DOD attack. It was an old-fashioned dial-in phone attack. They stuck the number onto random things, even fake call-girl ads to get random people calling.
