I like the deal for Anaheim for this year easily. However, Harding will be a solid goalie in the future and long term I might like it for NJ then depending on how good Harding/Perry get. Gotta give the advantage to Anaheim in this deal.

Ducks are really happy to add a guy like Perry to the offense. He is a great young player and should help us for years to come. Going back we had to give up future franchise star Josh Harding who will be a starter in this league, there is no doubt in my mind. I expect him to be 75OV next year, it was a hit to lose him but to get a good young forward I had to give up a good young goalie.
Theodore will step in to act as a solid backup for Luongo. While he will help this year, his near 8 million dollar contract will put me in a tough place next year, especially if he struggles this year in the NHL.

Harding is good, so I don't mind the Harding-Perry part
question is whether Theodore holds his value or not. he somehow seems to be turning his NHL life around (at least against the Flames). and sometimes in the SIM players hold value well past their best before date

If Theodore figures things out - and manages to hold his rating - I look like a real idiot in this trade. Honestly, I'm not sure that I don't already look that way.

Looks like the Ducks finally found a taker for Harding!
I like this deal for Anaheim though.

Dido the above, Like I mentioned yesterday in a good long debate, I don't see Harding being a starter in the NHL for several more years. I'll have to wait and see if I'm wrong.

Yeah, it's not so much about Harding's ability either... but more about him having one of the better goalies in the entire NHL in front of him on the depth chart. Barring an extended period that sees Backstrom miss a significant number of games, Harding won't get enough games in to realize his potential.
