Good/Bad plumbers?
I saw a previous thread requesting recommendations for a good plumber, but there wasn't much in the way of recommendations. I figured I'd throw this out there again, but with the addition of plumbers to avoid.
So, if you know of a good plumber (company) or maybe even more importantly ones to avoid it would be appreciated. I have a really small job that needs done however I am out of town and unable to do it any time soon. A couple that I checked out via website were Hansen Plumbing and The Green Plumber...

well I recently found out that these 24 hour plumber companies don't actually have people available 24 hours.
Took be 13 calls before i found a 24 hour plumber who would come out earlier then the next morning. It was 10pm, but I am a little urked that these guys advertise 24 hour emergency service then refuse to deliver.

We recently used Action Auger "The Gentleman Plumbers" (288-1111) and they did a great job at a fair price and the guy that showed up at our house was a big Flames fan and a good guy to talk to also. He taught me what to do so I can fix the problem if it ever arises again. I'll be using them if I need future plumbing done for sure.

What do you think that would cost? I got a quote for $500 but that seemed really high for the work. Just wondering if that's the range I'm going to get.

thats about right, plumbers are expensive.
You just want your toilet seated and hooked up to the supply, and sink hooked to the supply lines? if thats all you need i can walk you through it, or have my biz partner do it for $150-200$
or you need new supply lines and valves put in?

All the lines are in. Just need the sink installed (p-trap, faucets), toilet installed (that thingy that hooks it to the ground, hooked to supply), and the shower (head hooked to supply, turny knob thingy installed).
