Jets Conference Call
With the Jets stuck in a major rut, spinning their wheels in last place of the entire league GM Walsh addressed the media on Thursday evening.
We are not a good hockey team and we won't be very good or competitive for the rest of this season. Most of the young guys on the club are playing decent but its the veterans that are not doing much. We don't have a capable backup who can come in for Abby when he needs and rest. Because of this Jeff Deslauriers has been recalled for tomorrows game. Bottom line we need more from Petr Cajanek. Sure he is leading the team in scoring but he also leads the league in penalty minutes. Jason Allison has disappeared and we would move him for a marginal prospect at this time. Andrei Zyuzin has been brutal and we are taking offers for Andrei as well.
Cajanek, Allison, and Zyuzin are all available. The Jets would consider moving one of Stafford or Olesz if the return is very good. Send offers via pm.
