Hallowe'en Poll: How Many Trick or Treaters Did You Get?

Well... it's 7:15, the sky is dark, and my official 2007 trick or treater count (first year in the new house) sits at a big fat zero!
How disappointing!
How did everyone else do tonight?

Deoxyribonucleic Acid, for example... sounds impressive, right? But have you ever seen what happens if you put something in acid? It dissolves! If we had all this acid in our cells, we'd all dissolve! So much for the Theory of Evolution, Check MATE! |

Well, it's 9:20 here and I had three kids at around 6ish. Nothing since then... It's too bad that Halloween is rapidly dying out, at least the trick or treating part anyways...

We had around 12, and a kitten.
Not, not a kid, as a kitten. An actual kitten. Hilarity ensued.

I ran out of candy. So if you kid came home with packets of Mr. Noodles..... I'm sorry.
Actually I ran out of the full sized bars I normally give out, so now everybody gets 2 or 3 "halloween sized" bars. (Depending on politeness and also on costume.)

I just had my 35th. This is our first Haloween in this house but that's already more than we had last year in Sundance.

We are sitting at 14. I bought 2 boxes of candy, cause its the first year in this place. I'm either going to have start handing out handfuls, or I will have a ton of candy left over ; )

Man, what's with kids not trick or treating any more? I remember when I used to go, the streets would be PACKED. Pretty much from 5ish to around 11.

Only about 5 or so. My community doesn't really have a bunch of young kids so we always buy 4 boxes of candy with the expectation of eating 3 and 1/2.

Probably around 50 or 60 so far (and still coming). It depends a lot on where you live - how many kids in the area, what sort of neighbourhood - the last place I lived we used to get about 30, and when I lived in an apartment I'd never get any.
