Raleigh N.C. – After the Hurricanes 3-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday night, ‘Canes enforce Andrew Peters was so furious about being scratched and assigned to the press box in a game verses the team the Hurricanes claimed him from earlier this season (
Oct 4th), that the disgruntled enforcer did the unthinkable. Peters showed up at the Philadelphia Phantoms dressing room asking if he can play for the Phantoms. “It’s not like I’m getting to see any ice with Sutter, I thought I was coming to Carolina, to a team that wanted me, not another suit ushering seats. I’m better off playing for the Phantoms like I should have been before that dumbass Hanna Sniper stepped in and claimed me off waivers” commented Peters after assisting on NHL castaway Pavel Brendl’s goals in the last two consecutive games.
“Andrew has been playing well for the Phantoms, we’ve kept one of our scouts in Philadelphia since we were watching Andrew earlier in the season. He’s really picked up his came since then ever since he’s added more of an edge to his game. He was really starting to play like a pansy, the farm time has been good for him” commented ‘Canes boss Hanna Sniper, when asked for a response in regards to Peters faith in the Hurricanes boss Hanna only laughed “Hell, lets be honest about it, he doesn’t have an agent anymore and he’s property of the Hurricanes for two seasons…. if he even wants to see the ice in the CPHL again he’ll be reporting to the Carolina in a the near future… if he thinks he can just suit up and play for whatever team he chooses then he’s a lot bigger dumbass then even me”
When pressed about why it’s taken the Hurricanes GM to speak up about it the GM just bashfully smiled and said “at first I was thinking he’ll report, and when I started losing was began a run of changing positions of all our forwards in an attempt to create chemistry, I really feel sorry for league officials that have been following and making the website changes as we’ve been going through our changes…”
