Default Singing B-Day Telegrams.

Anyone had experience with a good place that does them?

i sure hope you're doing this to embarass someone. because i really don't see any other situation where hiring someone to do a singing telegram would endear you to a person.

It is for my sisters' bday in front of all of their friends. It most definitely is to be embarrassing, the more, the better.

Yeah, there should be some places. A group of us did this once for a friend's 40th birthday lunch. I forget the name of the company we used, but they wanted us all to submit info about the person. We did so, kept it honest and let the singer use a few liberties, but not so many liberties as for the party girl to be too embarassed.

Anyhow, they put together our submissions into lyrics and then the lyrics were sung for the party girl. If for your sister, you could do what we did. We hired the Kissing Bandit))) He dressed up sort of like Zoro, all in black, with a mask and cape. He came in, was directed to our table, he came in with birthday balloons and flowers too of course.

and then on bended knee, with a rose extended, he sang his song and asked his beloved to come with him, his chopper was waiting on Macleod trail))

It really was a lot of fun. anyhow, phone a few florists or those companies that deliver balloons, chocolates etc for special occasions. I think we found the company by phoning some of those balloon-o-gram places. If they dont do it, they can get you on to a company who does.

Don't know what these are like, but they showed up in a google search.

We also hired a male dancer for a stagette one time, did it a bit differently. We knew the girl in question was gonna be real suspicious, so we figured we better make it seem like it is all legit. We arranged for a very nice girls luncheon at the Palliser hotel and explained to hotel staff what we wanted to do and they went along with the plan. We rented a small dining room and told the girl we wanted to do a nice lunch with her before she got married. So she figured that was pretty legit. anyhow, she arrived, we started eating, all seemed like it was going fairly well.

anyhow, then the lights in our room went out)) And after a few minutes, a guy walked in and said he was the repairman. Well he had a tool kit and in the end he fixed things)) Was a lot of fun as well, and we used that same company to hire this male dancer that we got the Kissing Bandit through.

Anyhow, sorry, name escapes me, might not even be in business anymore, but both events were indeed a lot of fun. There must be some companies out there that still have people to hire for these type of parties.
