oh yeah it really is horrible. Worst part of the movie is when Ben Stiller confesses everything and starts talking really fast. Oh my, that was the most annoying thing I've ever watched.

One of the biggest let downs I have ever had during any movie experiance. This thing should have been hilarious but it was god awful.

I concur. Painful.

Yeah, it wasn't that good, but I wasn't surprised because it even looked bad in the previews. Still, I had to see it for Jack Black.

Yes, it was a horrible movie but I loved how crazy Christopher Walken's character is in that one.

I would watch Christopher Walken in any movie. I've even considered watching him in that movie with "The Rock" but haven't felt the need to waste money on it yet.

If you're refering to "The Rundown", waste your money. I think its the best buddy flick since the original 48 hours. Its got great action, funnier than hell and Walken plays the best villian, with no conscience and a dry sense of humor. Seriously, you'll like this movie. I saw it in the theatre and then couldn't wait for it to come out on DVD. Walken has always been a favorite of mine, but Scott and The Rock turned into the same after seeing this.

I thought Envy was average, it was funny but there weren't any parts that had me cracking up.

I thought the part where Ben Stiller's character is describing the performance chart to Jack Black. "you've got to get your focus levels up, you don't need to get them into the green just get them up into the orange, all your other levels are good!" I'm paraphrasing but that part was funny to me for some reason.

I watched Envy as well. I was a bit dissapointed. I love all three main actors. Oh well.

I agree with Lanny. Rundown was a great movie. The Rock was terrific. And Walken, was Walken. It's very entertaining.

When I originally saw the commerical it looked like it had a weak storyline. I remember the reviews were very poor then most comedies do.

OK, a good thread to bring up this question:

Why the heck did you watch it in the first place?
Did you ignore every review out there?

I'm sure my time isn't near as precious as some of you on this board (I have no kids, no wife, am going to school- but do not have a demanding job), but I never, NEVER watch a movie without reading some reviews first. Never. And I'm not kidding. I didn't go to any of the LOTR movies without reading a review, Spiderman 2, anything.

As much as I love movies, there's nothing I hate more than sitting through a crappy one. I've found a couple movie reviewers I seem to agree with ~80% of the time, and I trust them to help steer me in the right direction.

I'm sure I miss out on the occasional movie I'd like that the critics panned, but I occasionally seem to even seek those out. I dunno, I just hate crappy movies, and hate wasting time watching them.

So, in other words, for those of you who ignore movie reviews, why do walk into movies blindly? How do you decide what to see? Do you expect anyone to empathize with you after you see an awful movie and complain about it?

I mean, no offense to anybody who watched Envy, but I found it amusing that so many of you actually saw the thing, nevermind found it to be a waste of 90 minutes.

I never even heard of the movie till I saw it while browsing the video store. When I seen the actors, Jack Black and Ben Stiller I thought this movie would be decent. Guess I was wrong although it did have some good parts.

Speaking of reviews, I went to RottenTomatoes and they rated Taxi horribly. Am I the only one who found it entertaining?

I ALWAYS ignore reviews RO. Some of the best movies I've ever seen got horrid reviewes. I rented it because I'm a fan of Jack Black, Christopher Walken and Ben Stiller.

Besides, it's not like it's the end of the world because I saw a bad movie. I've seen bad movies before and I'm sure I'll see them again! In a way, isn't that what watching movies are all about? To see what your reaction to each is?

BTW...I agree with Lanny on Rundown. I liked it a lot.
