Dumbledore is the Gay!
Author J. K. Rowling has revealed the character Dumbledore, from the moderately successful Harry Potter series, is a homosexual.
"I always thought Dumbledore is gay," she said and explained that the character had fallen in love as a young man with Gellert Grindelwald, who later became a rival.
Rowling said she had already revealed Dumbledore's sexuality to David Yates, director of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, after seeing a scene in the script in which Dumbledore reminisces about an attraction to a young woman.
She said she crossed it out and wrote "Dumbledore is gay" over that section of the script.
Not having read the books this means nothing to me, but I know many here have, so. . . . Discuss!

this makes me awful suspicious of how close his relationship with harry was.
gay and a pedophile. now that's a good headmaster.
ha. now that i think about it maybe that's why they called him headmaster.

it makes no difference to the story. in fact, this is just another one of those situations where orientation makes no difference to anything.

I've never read any of the books or watched the movies, but I know many people will no go back and re-read the series trying to find clues that show he is gay.

That's awesome, though gladly unlike Locke, I wasn't drinking any coffee when I read this.
Really though, be it a publicity stunt or not, it does nothing to the story overall.

It just opens the door for Rowling to get into Gay Harlequin Romance novels with a storyline that'll knock her sales out of the park.....
