Bust car mirror.

Some kids last night decided to take a baseball bat to all the cars on our block last night and my complete driver side view mirror was bust off and basically hanging from the wire and is completely cracked open. I was wondering if anyone knew where I can get a replacement part? The car is a 2001 Honda CRV and the dealer quoted a price of 300 bucks and I was hoping to get something cheaper and install it myself. It doesn't have to even be authentic Honda made, I'm sure there are some imitation parts floating around.

Check the wreckers. Should be able to track one down there for a much better price.

There's a wrecker that specializes in trucks and 4x4s. It's on Glenmore and I think 52nd, but it could be further. So sorry, I don't know the name, but I have had pretty good luck finding parts there. Then again, I drive a '97 Jimmy, so I might be lucky because it's older and domestic.

Don't even bother with pick a part or cheap charlies. They never have anything newer than 10 years old.
